In a city that has gelati bars on almost every main street, choosing a favourite is a tough job. But once you've walked into the spotless, brightly lit Trampoline, seen and tasted the variety of colourful gelatis on offer, damn, you know you've got to put a big star right next to the name, so you remember to pick it the next time you play favourites. Trampoline has something for everyone - unless you don't eat ice-cream, in which case you're just weird - from icy fruit flavours to rich, creamy chocolates to chunky, nutty creams.
Whether you get a cup or a cone, you get to pick a maximum of three flavours. And if you can't decide, sample away! The award winner is "Open Sesame", a smooth, cream-coloured gelati liberally sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and rippled with toffee. It's a ripper, especially if you like texture. The "Peanut Nutter" is the one that really hits the spot though - its beautifully sticky and packed with crunchy peanut butter. Team it with a chocolate, like the "Choc Therapy", a dark chocolate adorned with big, fat chocolate chips and you'll leave in bliss. | ||
